U.S. Senator Tammy Duckworth (D-IL) and U.S. Senate Majority Whip Dick Durbin (D-IL) today announced federal support for the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) and William Rainey Harper College in Palatine from the U.S. Department of Education’s Child Care Access Means Parents in School Program (CCAMPIS).

Launch of the Ready Child Heading link

The Ready Child

Early Learning Offerings have expanded with the launch of readychild.org, a website designed to give families and teachers the skills and knowledge they need to help children succeed in kindergarten and in life.

The Ready Child is the latest website in the University of Illinois Chicago College of Education’s early learning series, which includes Early Math Counts and Early Science Matters. Visit all three sites often to help the children of today become the leaders and innovators of tomorrow!
